Do I have to be Muslim to take part?
No. Our activities, clubs and projects are open to anyone. Membership is intended for Muslim students, but participation has no restriction.
Do I have to pay to take part?
No. Open activities are free. Membership, which comes with the Membership Card and its benefits, requires a yearly contribution of 20 euros.
How can I get involved more concretely?
You can join a club or take part in a project with no prior requirement. For leadership roles, such as club lead or project lead, you must be a member of the Union.
How do I become part of a department?
Departments are executive bodies. To join, you need to have been an active participant for at least one academic year, to be voted in by active members or the Council, and to have skills relevant to that department's work.
Is there a separate structure for women?
Yes. The Union has two structures, for men and for women. You'll find contacts for both on the Structure page.
Who runs the Union?
The students involved in it. Roles change every year, while decisions belong entirely to the Union's structure, in open consultation with imams, academics and intellectuals.
Can I write for your site without being a member?
Yes. Every piece is reviewed before publication, but authorship doesn't require membership. Write to us with your idea.
I have a problem as a Muslim student. Can you help me?
Tell us. We read every concern and try to respond within 5 days. We don't promise every problem is solved, but we take every case seriously.
Can I take part if I'm not a student?
Yes. Our activities are open and not limited to students. Membership is intended for students, but participation isn't.
